• Increased muscle activity to counteract the pronation
• Inefficient push off/toe off during gait and running
• Vulnerable to posterior tibialis tendinitis

High arches/Supination

• Cause increased forces through joints
• Typically wear down footwear quickly
• Limited shock absorption ability
• Vulnerable to stress fractures
